Last year, Boston had its lowest homicide rate in nearly 70 years with 24 homicides. It's no coincidence that Massachusetts has some of the strongest gun laws in the nation.
Wu: If you wanted to make us safe, pass gun reforms. Stop cutting medicaid. Stop cutting cancer research. Stop cutting funds for veterans. That is what will make our city safe.
