Have been in a bit of a reading slump all month and just began listening to Camp Damascus by Chuck Tingle for a book club and why haven’t I picked this up sooner? Watch me mow through this #bookthreads

I started last week with 2 guinea pigs and 2 dogs. I now have 4 guinea pigs, 3 betta fish, and 2 dogs. Who knows what next week will bring?

What is the point of buying a special edition of a book you don’t plan to read by an author you don’t like?

Finished these two ARCs from @netgalley.bsky.social . Ew, it’s beautiful has allowed me to live the bird life I’ve always dreamed of and The Fib has some of the best illustrations with a great lesson. #booksky #arcreader

My daughter asked why people shouldn’t whistle at night and my lil Native heart has never been more excited to drop the horror lore on her. Now she’s afraid to take the dogs out before bed 😆

I feel like I’m not seeing enough people calling out Shiloh Hendricks’ fundraising campaign over here. She’s using Give Send Go and Block Inc will process their payments. Jack Dorsey is the CEO of Block Inc and founder of BlueSky. There should be a lot more activity here

Hey, it’s #FridayReads time! Let’s boost all signals. Repost this and let us know what to repost for you. Here’s a slice of mayhem with heavy doses of grief, violence, love, magic, and monsters. Help a dude get a new contract!

Ewwww. Between keeping up a picture of Mein Kampf to a Hogwarts house in the bio, to the shit ass response to being called out, 🤢. It’s interesting how people don’t think posting something means supporting it. Why are you posting it? If you don’t want to be called a cow, quit dressing like a cow.

My thoughts while reading Iron Flame have been: Violet is being dumb. Damn, that’s hot. Cringe. Violet is being dumb for way too much of this book. Why is this book so long?

Every time I see Floridian politicians tweet some dumb ass shit, I get the urge to verbally abuse them. They are pathetic, cracked, overflowing toilets for Donald Trumps regurgitated diarrhea. They and everyone who voted for them are an embarrassment.

I don’t get a lot of tattoos that mean something to me, but the one I scheduled for June has been being planned for 8 years and is in honor of my big brother, who passed in 2017.

The Route of Ice and Salt is a retelling of Draculas ship voyage. It is extremely h*rny and queer.

My Barnes and Noble says Sunrise on the Reaping is in stock. They have a Hunger Games table inside the door that doesn’t include it. No table does. Checked YA and it isn’t there. B&N, why do you hide the books?

This may be the most depressing book I’ve ever read. Sometimes life is like that, though

I’m reading No Place to Bury the Dead by Karina Sainz Borgo and it’s a difficult read. Like it’s good but it’s on my list for most disturbing books.

I misplaced my Kobo charger, but did find a dozen chargers that were similar, thus introducing me to the fact that not all chargers are data sharing cables. Thankfully, the final charger with a lightning bolt on it (that I for sure thought wouldn’t work) did work. 😮‍💨

Anyone else sit down to read and can’t concentrate only to realize you didn’t put music on in the background? My brain needs input from all angles at all times to stay quiet

Started reading Teller of Small Fortunes by Julie Leong for book club and am immediately loving it. Needed a cozy little fantasy after Sunrise in the Reaping crushed my soul over the weekend 😆

Finished Sunrise on the Reaping and now I need to read something with some hope in it.

Just rewatched The Hunger Games, as I’m sure many are, and I don’t think it’ll matter how many times I watch them, Katniss screaming at Prims cat that she’s gone and never coming back will always break me. Anyways, I start Sunrise on the Reaping tomorrow.
