A small crowd gathered on Whitehall and were contained by the police who moved them onto the pavement. The crowd later marched through Marble Arch.

The Albert Memorial in Hyde Park at night, commissioned by Queen Victoria in memory of her husband, Albert, who died at 42 years of age, from typhoid fever. Designed by George Gilbert Scott and unveiled in 1872.

A large contingent of Tommy Robinson’s supporters shouting his name attacked the police with glass bottles, flares and fists, called them ‘traitors’. Elon Musk had told them on a big screen to ‘fight back or die’. 26 police officers were injured. September 13th 2025.

A small crowd of protestors formed opposite Downing Street, where Herzog had been. It was day two of a protest against the visit of Isaac Herzog, the President of Israel. A man knelt on the ground for two hours holding a sign which read Ceasefire Now, across from the Prime Minister’s residence.

TLS Summer Drinks Party. In attendance were the editor, Martin Ivens, and his wife, the journalist Anne McElvoy, the poet Hugo Williams, writer and academic Douglas Field, the classicist Mary Beard, editor Toby Lichtig, writer Luke Brown amongst many others. A good time was had by all.

Isaac Herzog Protest

A protest outside Downing Street against the visit of Isaac Herzog, the President of Israel on 9th September 2025. Muslims and Jews gathered among others to speak out against the ongoing war in Gaza.

Nearly 900 arrests of people holding a sign supporting Palestine Action. The young, elderly, military veterans, NHS retirees, Quakers, Christians, the blind, disabled and some previously arrested under the Terrorism Act for a similar action gathered in Parliament Square, London on 6th September 2025

The Campaign Against Antisemitism marched from Marylebone to Parliament Square on 7th September 2025. In attendance were Richard Tice of Reform, Michael Gove of The Spectator, the Chief Rabbi, Ephraim Mirvis, the Israeli ambassador to the UK, Tzipi Hotovely and Ian Austin from the House of Lords.

The Campaign Against Antisemitism marched from Marylebone to Parliament Square on 7th September 2025. As the march readied a Jewish woman asked Richard Tice why he was there since Reform were fascists, he did not convince her otherwise and she left.
