Of course they do not worry about elections: indeed, they are not elected. They only worry about piling up enough money to buy their way in with who will come next, the same they bought their way in with the current administration.

Recommended. It is a very good movie. Although it may resonate more if you know a bit about Italy in the 1930s… and Italy in the mid 1970s when the movie was shot.
