That's how I was doing it for a long time, in the last 3 years though I've had to replace my phone four times. I can't afford to keep this up, but unfortunate circumstances have put me in this position. I kind of hated it enough that I've been considering not owning a phone anymore.

Manufactured obsolescence is destroying our planet And even the people who care, can't be bothered to make the lifestyle changes necessary to stop this from happening. It's very frustrating.

There's no reason for us to be spending $1,000 every couple years on a new phone just bc they've been designed to only last a couple years. My mother was using the same phone the entire time I lived with her & well into me having moved out. We can do that with our electronics too but we don't...

I literally spent this morning oiling my cutting boards because they are very high quality (one having been made for me by my grandfather) and I am intending to teach my niece how to buy really high quality things on the cheap so that she can own things that she can keep for the rest of her life.

I think we honestly need to go back in time to a point when we bought things with the expectation that they would last the rest of our lives. It's ridiculous that people don't know what a cobbler is, or how to maintain a wooden cutting board because they will just go buy a new one...

It's not even that there aren't shitty women in the world, it's that we police our own. If a woman's being a bitch, there's not a woman around her who won't call her out for it. We can't afford to let our children think they are the center of the universe because it destroys the community.

I sincerely believe that if women had taken control of society centuries ago, we currently would not be murdering the planet that we depend on for our survival. None of what's happening right now would be occurring if women had started running the world

I just can't understand how it is Americans still think it's okay for anybody who wants them to be able to pick up a gun. That's not what the second amendment was intending to protect.
