I wish I had a system for choosing film simulations, and I just spent 10 minutes trying to pretend I do - but I don’t.
I think here, I wanted to draw attention to the shape, so a desaturated look felt right. I rarely use EBB but tried it here and liked it.

Talking about expensive… I rejected the Cobalt Image profiles for a long time and spent far too much money on others. Then there was a deal recently and I got a few Cobalt packs – and oh my, am I impressed. I wish I’d just bought those from the outset and I would never have bought 80% of the others

I was initially put off the X100VI by all the hype (a bit of snobbery on my part, I suppose). My X100VI now goes *everywhere* with me and using it brings me joy. The fixed focal length is a major plus and unexpectedly makes me *less* anxious about missing shots.
