Since becoming a parent I understand vaccine hesitation much less, to the point where I can’t respect anyone who has the slightest bit of hesitation in jabbing up their kids, tbh. Truly a dealbreaker

I knew that at the time, that it was terrifying because it was our first time having to do this, to constantly check the thermometer and make sure they weren’t passing the “go to the ER threshold” and still it felt like actual magic to feel their little body get cooler and relax into real sleep
