Finally finished my newest best rig done over the last four months on my free time, the model was made by Dennis Skkoda at artstation.
I already put some stuff here but the final breakdown is massive so if you wanna see it i'll put the link below or in my bio.

The final system i worked on its an automatic hair system that interacts with the helmet, using orient constraints, locators, condition nodes, limit transforms and a dream

I made a small auto clavicle system, using a pose reader made with locators, ik support sytem and some nodes, the clavicle asjust depending on the movement of the arm, i made some options to adjust the influence the system has, it works with the armor auto systems

The clavicles have fk and ik option that work in 2 different settings, armor and clothes, the armor version was the more fun to make since i tried to automate is movement the most, the clavicles pull on breastplate to give the armor some weight

The plates also are affected by the hips and have some dynamics to them

For the skirt armor plates i made some manual controls to adjust them, i used a combination of nodes and sdk to follow the movements of the legs

Finally finished a new rig it took me a while so its a bit outdated, i'll be posting some technical breakdawns later, i managed to make a ton of automated systems for the armor

So how does one go about making friends online?, i need a manual

Finished one of my big scripts, the Limp creator, made in python can auto rig, arms, legs and quadruped limbs, it supports ik/fk blending, twist joints, bendy, reverse foot, in the video you can see a little breakdown of a leg example, to see the full break see my artstation

Finally finished one of the tools i was working on, its an auto rig that generates modules for long joit chain like in chain or braids...
Anyway it generates a bunch of systems, bendy, stretchy, modular scaling, twist, check the full breakdown at my artstation page.

Ive been doing some script tools born from bigger tools but specialized in an area, the first one is a one click reverse foot creator, it adapts to what the users have and creates what they don't.
For example if you don't have acontrol it will create it, if you do it will work with it

A little animation with the face rig

A little experiment tryinh to make mesh controls, interacting with model as controls, the final result are neat but it has a big cost in fps

Made a face rig since i don't have any, here is a little show off of the mouth

Making the UI scalable was the most time consuming part and a pain in MEL but i made it scalable because it bothered me a lot

Starting the year by fusing all my mini scrpts in one tool, i tried my hand at MEL safe to say I'll be using python from now on jajaja.
It can position, copy location, scale, orient and aim objects.

Just finished a little animation to look nice in the porfolio :).
I found a problem importing to unreal apparenlu scale can't be zero, jus moved some nodes around to fix it

A combination of all the things I've learned I was inspired by an article I saw 2 years ago to create my own auto walk system and learning the skills to get at this point, it uses code, nodes, set driven keys, you can adjust the speed, spread of the legs, the stride etc.

An animator requested this system on a previous work and I liked so I'll put it in future rigs, an isolation visibility system, so you can hide all distractions and work in a single area, it works best on an picker were you can program the buttons but I managed to make it work without

A custom pivot system a showed an example off before but in the crab rig looks quite amazing, i had to make some small changes for ghis to work on unreal but at the end it translated well

An Xray behind the model to show the inner workings of the bendy system, under this one i'll put the videos showing the system in an engine

I've learned a lot of ways to make bendy controls so I made my own version stitching together what i know, the arms and legs of this rig have version 2.5 of my technique I would say, the legs in particular where a pain thanks to the curvature😅

Practicing mel I made a procedural animation feature for the mandibles, animators can change speed, the random seed, min and max angles, I coded a function for loop preservation so no matter how many frames you have in the time slider you'll have an animation loop

Had some fun with the rig and made some poses for the breakdown, tested some stuff in engine too.
