Layan Hamada was killed at 15 years old.

Layan, Hind Rajab's cousin, was the last person alive in the car besides Hind. Layan told an emergency operator, “They’re firing at us. The tank is next to me.”

She spent her final hours trapped in a car, surrounded by the bodies of six relatives. A Red Crescent operator stayed on the phone, comforting her as an Israeli tank approached.
