People keep telling me Arrested Development is/was great but I think I missed out not watching it age 22 on someone else's netflix account. I think that was an important part of the experience.

I keep missing your music streams but you always have interesting taste, is there a place to read your recommendations?

Starmer acts more like a monarch than a prime minister. He makes suggestions and expresses opinions and forgets he controls the actual engine of state.

I'm just tired of *gestures broadly at the world*.

I agree there is a lot of anti-car stuff, but its not this reflexive. There are people who act as though generating 1 AI image is like cutting down pristine rainforest, but wouldn't blink at driving to the shops.

Modern manga title right there

The data collection that they get subsidizes the cost of a TV significantly. If you want an amazing looking dumb TV they sell them, but they are designed for businesses and schools and cost thousands of dollars more.

That's Jon Snow sending Sam to the citadel to study in the game of thrones books.

I mean that's just gender affirming care.

I think comparing AI to cars is like complaining about radioactive bananas vs Chernobyl. It's not as bad as Crypto, at least AI can theoretically be useful.

Heck, even when you think of microplastics - tyres are the source of 45% of microplastics!

If your electric car is only solar powered the impact will be less, but really the effective reduction for emissions means society needs expansive municipal mass transit. Electric buses, trams, light rail and high speed rail.

Driving a car, electric or petrol, is the worst thing we can do.

Personal driving is a horrifying cause of environmental harm. In the USA an electric car saves about 50 tons of CO2 over its lifetime (17years). Average American produces 16 tons of CO2 per year

In '23 Generating 1000 images in Stable Diffusion is the equivalent of driving 4 miles in an average car

Don't worry they already successfully linked all pensions to the stock market, so if it ever stops going up everyone over 65 starves, who are also the most consistent voting block.

"content creation" sadly dates from before the internet. Humans are slime.

They are exactly as good as the first one. No more no less.

Extra bonus points for if, like baseball, Christmas has faded to obscurity in the Federation.

This is because the Soviet Union framed Nazism through capitalism which, while not an invalid framework, gave the East Germans permission to be "victims" rather than complicit members of the crime. Again, this was also due to the growing Cold War, soviets needed the DDR as much as Nato needed FRG
December 27, 2025 at 10:40 PM
This is just not true. De-nazification was a massive success that was only halted when Nato needed West Germany to become an ally against the Soviet Union, which required rebuilding their martial spirit. To this day Neo-Nazi groups are more numerous in East Germany than West.

Actually wonder if the gambling industry is paying people to go and report anti-gambling videos as being pro-gambling knowing that the AI that picks up the reports weren't really care.
