Yes, my dog is now my personality. She’s unlocked within me a love and devotion I never thought possible for me. I’ve never wanted kids, and I don’t regret the decisions I’ve made, but I think if I’d known I could feel this deeply I might’ve made other choices.

I don’t think writers ever used to simply declare things. Maybe to a friend or two, but not to the world. It was unnecessary. Why do we do this now?

Bluesky is just like Twitter so far. Lots of lofty claims and complaints painting one group of people as unique from another. Hard truth: you’re not.

Reservoir Road is alive and soon to be well. CLOVES is no more, for now anyway. I have been humbled by the grace and kindness flowing through this community throughout my breakdown. I wish I’d had the capacity to tap into it more.
