Why then we don’t nationalize the weapon companies? Then we can invest in defense without the huge profit motive. The money will go from the government to the workers and back to the government etc. No middle man, no billionaire ceo, no bs. You know the answer.

I know and I agree, but this kind of spending must come along with some real measures to fight the extreme wealth inequality. Or else will be like USA.

How to you expect to hold a society like that? See the US for example. Everything has accumulated to the very very top and nothing functions. How do you expect the people to take this almost 1 trillion spending (as I said I understand the need)? We need real solutions for these problem also.

I agree with you, but people have become so alienated by the neoliberalism and austerity the last few years and this leads them to fall into simple misinformation and false hope sold by russian influenced politicians and media. They see that the system does not work for them.

Can I ask you a question? What are fighting for if our lives become worst and worst for some 200 people to become even more absurdly rich and destroy the environment? We can’t find jobs, they also pay very bad, bad conditions, no money for family, education, food. No time for ourselves.

We don’t have money to start families, we see the environment getting destroyed every day, the working conditions become worst and worst. Do something for the people, not just the rich and the companies.

If nothing changes for the day to day life of the regular people will lead to radicalization which the right wing and Russia miss informed will take advantage even more. The people need some hope, some change. Tax the rich, introduce regulations, reduce working hours. We cannot take it anymore.

Even tough I believe that this spending is a necessarily evil that must be done.
I will not hide the hypocrisy on all this, where was this money when people needed it for health care? infrastructure? Welfare programs? Education? Environment? Literally the livelihood of the people all these years?
