I'm going to have to break this out again - there's nothing left to settle.
Some foul language ahead. A rough sketchy version of the scene from Transformers the Movie where Frenzy and Rumble are smashing the windows of the autobot communications tower. It's a worms eye view looking up from beneath the glass roof. On the left, the red and black one is shouting "HA HA HA! We're smashing your windae's in!". There is a caption that says "rumble", to the right of him is the blue and purple one he is shoutinf "Ya pack o' fannies!" there is a caption beside him which says "Other Rumble." Beneath him is another caption which says "Don't come the cunt now.".

My bit of art to accompany The Secrets of Cybertron presented by @davidw140.bsky.social at last weekend's @tfnationltd.bsky.social Reading Mini-Con. I was originally going to use Don's Primus design from the War Within, but as I started realised it wasn't Sunbow enough so went my own way.
A scene set in space showing the world of Cybertron, home planet of the Transformers transformed into a robot form - Primus, patterened on the Rodimus Prime toy, instead of a chest flames there is a matrix of leadership marking. The outer shell of the planet forming giant wings, his left, is tattered and damaged at the bottom, just as the planet is in the cartoon. He wields a massive giant blade, the pommel is Vector Sigma, the crossguard and opened matrix case one half on each side and the base of the sword is the key to vector sigma. The blade is glowing, because I wanted it to. He is holding the blade in his both hands, close to his body and pointing upwards towards the demonic robot Unicron who is running towards him.

I had to clean up the image, so pulled it into Illustrator and just built up the shapes in various layers before back into photoshop for mucking around and back into InDesign to finish it off. And I clearly missed a trick which I fixed and labelled this Modem Classics.

However, there are no lines just coloured transparences as we have the red of his chest, the dark blue of his helmet, and the lighter blue of his faceplate. These are all opaque and we can see the circuit pattern clearly. The head is angled looking from right to left but looking downward and within the head, we can see the shape of the skull beneath.

Just had the idea in my head and had to get it down and out. It's a bit messy in places, but i do like the effect and yes, Optimus Prime sacrificing his life for computer games characters is absolutely on brand and makes perfect sense. An absolute classic story. #transformers #maccadam
