community nonetheless, but not like other true communities i’ve seen on the same platforms

I’ve been in and out of the ‘community’ (4chan then tumblr then twitter and now here and reddit) for almost a decade and it’s difficult to say whether there is any true sense of community. for sure a shared interest. but that’s as far as i want to call it.
