In PreK, our librarian taught about various festivals of light, Ss made diyas or votives out of clay with our art teacher, and today we made electric “candles” with #SquishyCircuits. Tomorrow we will all have a “candlelit” story time together back in the library. #EduSky #STEAMReads #IntegratedSTEM

Some days when I’ve got time to kill between teaching and doc program, I like to grab students from after school and test out lesson ideas. Today I had a particularly enjoyable time getting to know my coworker’s daughter better while we explored cardboard construction ❤️

Hello #EduSky Friends! Is anyone else attending #FETC25 in January? I'm beyond excited to have the opportunity this year to speak on two of my favorite topics: 1) Creative Computer Science & 2) Electrical Engineering. Can't wait to return to one of my favorite conferences of the year!

Hands down my favorite class to teach is PreK makerspace! My littlest engineers are learning about electricity this month and using #SquishyCircuits to make different creations out of play doh and LED lights ⚡️💡❤️

We were originally going to upcycle old Xmas lights, but the lights keep blowing out so if anyone has advice LMK!

Harry Potter inspired CS project! This 2nd grader wanted to find a way for his LEGO Harry Potter to make “real” magic. And you know what they say “magic is just science.” Or in this case, computer science! #EduSky #MakerEd #CSforAll
