I don’t think anything prevents individual schools — or the NCAA — from requiring a fixed percentage of all money contributed to athletics to be directed to the school’s general fund. Call it an overhead cost. And get rid of “athletic” fees charged to students.

Can’t help but note Texas Tech boosters maybe led the nation (at least had to be close to the top) in bankrolling the hiring of student athletes with NIL, sometimes at seven figures each.

For example, read that Gallup question to every member of Congress (or those in your coverage area) and ask to agree/disagree. No BS answers. Those who won’t directly answer should be reported as “Would not say.”
