There's an entire group I've designated "the Bigot Barbies" because they're all so blonde and plastic I can't easily tell the difference, and another "Waxwork Nazis" because they look...like someone made a wax sculpture of Hitler and then melted it a bit.

Suggestion to US people: Maybe contact your local police and let them know this woman is claiming to know the time of an impending attack, and that maybe she should be sharing her strangely detailed information with law enforcement, not twitter.

I know until basic sanity has been restored everything else is on the backburner, but once basic sanity has been restored, someone should really look into the fact that someone being tried for exposing his genitals to a child still had access to three kids. Maybe cut that off until a verdict.

I have been to HUNDREDS of scenic little villages, and a few expensive London boroughs and pricey districts of other cities, and not seen a single non-white person. Pretty sure at least 95% were English.
Why are the people who are 'just concerned about integration' never concerned about that?

I gave up on expecting basic human decency from the Tories as a party a while ago, so honestly at this point I'm just hoping they'll go some way to dividing the right wing vote while driving their less extreme voters to the left. Though I'm really not expecting much, but every little helps.

Thank you - it's safe to say I'm 'sceptical' of a lot of news reports these days, but I'm trying to get better at spotting red flags for lies because...it can hard, for me at least.
A bit of advice I can offer is a lot of left wing foreign news agencies have set up a US news section that's...better.

I glanced at their feed and it is exclusively posts from the perspective of a cat. No idea why that is, or why they thought it was the kind of thing they should bring to another country's Green party political campaign, but if they're not straight up trolling they're deeply unserious.

You know what I love about the Ferengi in Star Trek? They're greedy, ruthless capitalists, but they never pushed their homeworld to ecological collapse, because that would be bad for their profits. Tbf people worked out he sits that little boy on his shoulders in public because Elon wears a bulletproof vest, meaning if a shooter wants to get him they have to risk hitting the kid.
He is literally gambling that a shooter will care more about his child's safety than he does and I have no words.

There's an old story in the UK about an early Women's Union - young women who made matchsticks in a factory.
