I'm fanfiction author AegiBoromir at AO3, writing "Her Sky, Her Sea, Her Sun", a canon-compliant Horizon longfic starting at the end of Burning Shores. Its main motif is relationship anarchy with Seyloy at the centre.

#NoAI: no generative AI ever used.
Kennt man.

If anything of that sounds like something that you think you a) could and b) would want to provide, I'd love to hear from you. You can both comment under here or drop a private note. Just, please, don't leave it somewhere around Boomer's shop or a random place in the Quen settlement 😂 Use DM!

— the female perspective. I'm queer, but still a cis male. My story's main character is cis female, the main ship is lesbian. I'd love feedback based on first-hand experience on the female perspective. Once smut happens, feedback from #wlw would help to stay clear of male gaze tropes.

— sensitivity. There are many issues around the world, it's not always easy to keep track of them from one single POV. Even the games, as progressive as they are, and try to do things right, aren't flawless in that regard. Hints on such problems would be extremely appreciated.

— style, flow etc. Sometimes scenes can/should play out differently, are unnecessary or too long, might need clarification. Maybe sth. seems OOC. Or you just have a cool idea. A fresh perspective doesn't hurt. When I proofread, that's a major part, now I'd like to be on the receiving end :D

— canon compliance. I use the Wiki, cutscene compilations etc. Some things are arbitrary as the player influences the sequence of events. Distances are arbitrary, I aim for a middle ground btw. game & RL. With those variations, oversights can happen. Someone with a keen eye would help.

— grammar and orthography. I'm writing in British English with Oxford comma, and I try to keep to BE terms and expressions. Nowadays, the majority of my English-speaking contacts are native AmE speakers, so I do occasionally struggle to keep consistent.

— consistency management. It's easy to lose track as the writer, as you're too close to the text. As a proofreader, I know it can happen to even the most experienced, and I'm not a seasoned writer yet.
