Yep, conspiracies are all fundamentally about providing simple narratives about why the world is fucked up like it is because the reality that all of this <waves> is due to stupidity and banal selfishness is much harder to understand and come to terms with than the idea it's part of a grand scheme.

Populism is a style, not a policy platform. Trump is 100% populist in his approach to politics.
