Wow, my mom in the US was a histologist in the 80s and 90s. She died this year, but dealt with an incredible amount of autoimmune and neurological problems over the past 30 years. Her health was connected to a lot of other things, but I'm wondering if exposure didn't play something of a role.

Hard to say, but @archaeocore.bsky.social is right. The fact that they are cracking this open is danger zone. It's part of a larger attempt to dismantle the broader regulatory infrastructure.

What could go wrong is this: if the NHPA and Section 106 were to be dismantled, we risk losing irreplaceable fabric of our communities. These laws already don't have the power to *stop* development, they just require consideration of effects and mitigation if something does get destroyed.

It appears that one can book at CVS in VA with an on-screen acknowledgement of eligibility and no Rx. I haven't gone all the way to the final confirmation, though.
