The beyblade community is meant to be new fans and old fans mingling together and having fun and trying out different combos genuinely to connect and expand with like minded people, but now it's just full of people who think every battle is a tournament and it's frustrating to see

Also another thing is that the general consensus is that if you use a specific combo that's unknown to the community and you want to just test it and have fun, you will get clowned on by meta tryhards for "daring to be different" and that's genuinely unacceptable

I often find myself these days making bey combos that will statistically beat meta combos with video proof and people will be like "why don't you just use (insert meta bey here)" and it irks me a little. I'm usually the type to find ways to make weaker beys useful than to meta spam

Another fault I could say is that the meta is just genuinely so stagnant at this point, hover wyvern and shark scale did shake the meta up but it genuinely is so boring just seeing the same three beys and no one really plays for fun anymore, it's genuinely meta this meta that and yeah it's not good

Genuinely there are some banger releases but it feels like some of the designs are very counter intuitive, I've done a lot of bey testing to see what clicks with every bey and it's actually getting harder and harder to find a decent combo. I'm just tired of testing at this point it leaves me so bleh

I genuinely hope subscription based trash and faulty LLMs die off in the next few years because it's preventing me from connecting with other cultures in the sake of end stage corporatism
