In Merkels first term I was too young & just excited to have a female chancellor. Never been a fan after that. She worked like a sleep pill - people paid less attention to politics.

We’re still waking up. We’ve gotten out of bed alright but now in the bathroom shocked at what we see in the mirror.

I don’t have any questions whose side I’m on. I think most people don’t. Let’s not pretend whose side to be on is a difficult philosophical conundrum. Good and evil are clearly outlined in this case.

Why is there a gender segregated pond in the first place? I never quite understood that. Like in public swimming pools it’s not segregated, lakes are not segregated, nudist beaches aren’t segregated…

(Berlin) Major “don’t look up” vibes.

I’m freaked out that almost nobody’s freaked out. My less politically interested friends (teachers, MDs) don’t know about it or think it’s not relevant to them. When I bring it up I get awkward “stop making us uncomfortable” stares.

Makes me remember- As a kid I knew this literally ancient gay couple that was friends with my grandparents- but even older than them. They had known and loved each other through Nazi times, GDR, sickness and happiness. Elderly gay love is the cutest.

Friend - Fighting for democracy is tough - I acknowledge that you didn’t have much practice recently so it feels even harder. But the Berlin Wall didn’t come down cause people cried. Ukraine isn’t standing strong cause they were hopeless. South Africa didn’t topple apartheid with tiredness.

Gemeinsame europäische Projekte scheinen mir sinnvoller. Nach dem Modell von ITER könnte man Ressourcen bündeln und Geld sparen. Ich denke auch der Vergleich zu Solar/Wind hinkt. Fusion ist Grundlagenforschung die unabhängig von zukünftigen Reaktoren wissenschaftlich enormen Wert hat.
