Went to the bookshop for the 'kinderboekenweek' (kids book week) and picked up this amazing book where each page has a spinnable disk which shows different critters. You don't see this quality and gimmick very often! They're complex to make, I bet.

Slowly working towards finishing the 'beach' variant to the 'sea' version of the baby cloths. I couldn't sit on the floor nor do any measuring/cutting of yardage for a very long while so these lagged behind.

Cookies! I finally bought that wooden cookie mold I've wanted for years. Not this one per se, just a nice wooden cookie mold.

I love baking. This is a 'regular' prepackaged breadmix bread, but it was shaped with a reed basket. It was fun. Got a full sourdough living mix to try next, but gotta marvel at this great looking bread first.

This was on us, we didn't make it clear it's a nest. Pixel instinctually respects the nest areas and does not enter them. Makes for a cute picture, though 😂

Yes, that pot in the back is the pot that had the blue ones... white grape jelly in progress in the beef stew pot. And still got grapes to gift to the neighbours.

The ✨️richest✨️ pink colour! No artificial food colouring, just pure grape doing their magic. Figured we'd need to see the end result as well.
The taste is phenomal, very sweet ofc but also a little bit sour. Odd note: there's a tiny hint of crystalline granulate, instead of full jelly.

The XP-Pen Pro Artist 16 2nd gen is amazing. Sturdy and fast. The remote takes a bit of getting used to after on-device buttons, but it's very versatile. Found a perfect carry bag for this gear as well in the form of a Nedis 17/18 inch laptop bag.

Ordered a new drawing tablet: Artist Pro 16 2nd gen.
XP-Pen dropped the price lower in a jubileum sale, and despite the minus customer satisfaction points on inter-Europe price discrepancy they do have major goodwill with me which *also* counts for something. Don't scorch earth over one gripe.
