Had a major win today at work, dedicated myself for three and a half years for this validation and it finally feels good.

My first takeaway from A Knight of the Seven kingdoms is someone important has a fetish (or is a huge fan of Jackass), because there is zero justification for that scene (wtf lol). There is also certainty that gif will show up in a teams chat at work 💩

The first episode of season 2 of Frieren gave me a bit of joy and its little things like this I should focus on

Well the third episode in season 3 of JJK was just a giant info dump lol.

Started Fevered Star today and I’m interested in where the middle book of between earth and sky will take me 😊
January 16, 2026 at 11:18 AM
Finished the first season of Frieren and while it wasn’t what I was expecting (no idea why it’s rated MA in Australia) it has been such a comforting show to watch.

I enjoyed Black Sun right up until the end of chapter 34 which was genuinely brilliant and then the next 8 chapters felt extremely rushed with a mediocre ending. 🙁

Started Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse today.

I don’t know how anyone can watch the news these days and feel any sort of hope, everything is a mess of hate, greed and misery.

I finished Jurassic Park this New Year’s Eve, enjoyed the book and the character differences to the film.

Pluribus was the best show in television this year.

Strength of the Few turned out to be alright, pacing was a bit all over the place but I enjoyed its format and the way in which Vis evolved into different versions of himself.

What a fucking terrible tragedy that unfolded at Bondi this afternoon, utterly horrified, I hope that extremely brave bloke that disarmed one of the shooters is ok, incredible courage.

I’m 100 pages into The Strength of the Few and holy fuck am I sick of reading “rotting gods”
December 10, 2025 at 1:03 AM
I enjoyed Shadow Upon Time despite a few bumps here and there, most people can only dream of delivering a good finish to a seven books series, I think it’s worth your time and I’m looking forward to whatever CR puts out in the future ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What the fuck was the start of chapter 76 Christopher. Holy Shit #SUT

If your YouTube video has an AI voice I’ll immediately dislike and stop watching. Wild that they’ve spent trillions of dollars and it still sound like these awful, inhumane info dumps every single time.

On Chapter 67 of SUT and it continues to surprise me despite the MC being gods chosen one and the villains being other common tropes (it’s space opera what do you expect). Story remains a very satisfying read 2/3rds of the way through.

Episode 5 of Pluribus, exceptional entertainment, LOVED the silhouette shot, desperately wanted to know what Carol saw at the end of the episode, absolutely hooked.

Chapters 48 and 49 of Shadows Upon Time were so satisfying to read though I know the retaliation is going to probably be petty and heartbreaking.
November 27, 2025 at 8:52 AM
I am reading Shadows Upon Time, it’s already pretty tense and I can tell things are not going to go as expected, story is great so far (though a little too heavy handed with the god stuff).

Sharp Ends from the broken binding showed up, great set of short stories from the world of the first law.

It has arrived!
November 20, 2025 at 10:54 PM
I am finishing up A Darkness at Sethanon before I get into Strength of the Few, my TBR is getting out of control and I feel like I have so many older works in fantasy to catch up on that I’ve barely read anything new this entire year.
November 12, 2025 at 6:46 AM
Opening episode of Pluribus is the best pilot episode of a new show I have seen in many years. All sorts of unsettling, weird and absurd.
