They were often op to the point of broken, but it just FELT right playing them :D

There's a few early places where it's showing its age/fast development time a bit. You can lock yourself out of a some good content if you go after the powder gangers in Goodsprings for example, and don't read guides.

But I still wish I could try the game it completely fresh again. It's so good.

The skirmisher or the battle game? The battle game is pretty good. Tried it a few times. Pretty fast paced, but not without its merits.
