His argument is disingenuous. On its face it doesn’t seem like a big ask to show ID to vote, but the SAVE act requires that one show PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP to vote, not just a driver’s license or some other form of ID. So I encourage everyone to read the act to understand how onerous it could be.
