Went to see Mickey 17 last night - really enjoyed it! Great combination of humor, sci-fi, and critique of imperialism/fascism. Lots of tense moments created by the parallels with current events in the world - strong acting by all!

Finished reading On Tyranny (expanded audiobook edition) - written & read by Timothy Snyder last week. If you have the chance to read the expanded version, I highly recommend it! The added content on Ukraine & Russia provides many contemporary examples of how to identify and resist totalitarianism.

Went on a lovely weekend retreat with my bellydance group to Lava Hot Springs - stayed in a very comfortable Airbnb, had deep discussions, a drum circle, yoga, dancing, and lots of great food 🌮 So relaxing and rejuvenating!

Saw “Mufasa” last night - really enjoyed it! Liked the backstory on Mufasa, Scar, & Rafiki. Didn’t have this movie on my radar originally, but would recommend it 👍. Received the skirt I ordered from ShinnySquirrel on Etsy for my Fat Chance Bellydance group - absolutely love it!
