Like I said, it doesn’t consistently work with Proctorio. I was lucky last time I tried Edge that my teacher let me retake in Chrome because Proctorio crashed in the middle of an exam and forced me out of the exam window

What? Spanish is being taught in American schools because it’s the second most spoken language in the nation. We don’t have a national language in this country, despite what MAGA might try to make you believe.

Imagine trying to use AI to make a point 😂😂 AI will literally say anything you ask it to, and the information that it gives is often wildly inaccurate. Grow up and learn how to do actual research.

Both parents should be prioritizing the children over the partner… they’re children. If you leave them alone, they die. The same is not true for adults. If you don’t want your partner prioritizing a child over you, maybe don’t make a child.

Back then it really came down to monetary distribution. White schools were better schools because they got money from the government to be better, to have up-to-date textbooks and teaching tools, while black schools were mainly maintained by the community members and often had to do without

They/them were singular pronouns long before they were pluralized. Furthermore, I promise you use them to refer to a singular person more often than you realize. “Oh, someone lost their umbrella, hope they find it” rolls better than “someone lost his or her umbrella, hope he or she finds it”

I use Firefox as my default browser for non-Proctorio or panapto things (another school thing, where my teachers post video lectures for online classes for the stuff they don’t have on campus), but I still hate that I have to use google chrome pretty much every single day

I wish we had the time. He’s military and in school, works 12 hour shifts, and I’m a full time student and freelance online work, so our free time adds up to a whopping hour, maybe 2 if we’re lucky 🥲 we’re too old for this shit.

I’m struggling with letting Google go mainly cause of Chrome. It’s a shitty browser, but it’s the only one that works consistently with Proctorio, which I need to complete my degree. I’ve tried Microsoft Edge, Opera, Firefox, Safari, none of them run Proctorio properly and it pisses me off :/

Grocery prices are so bad that my husband and I are back to eating like we did when we worked minimum wage jobs as teens. Ramen noodles, canned soup, and frozen meals, because we can’t fucking afford real food.

Very simply, they don’t care about all children, only rich children. I grew up poor and remember when our school finally instituted free lunch. I remember some parents protesting outside our school about how if our parents couldn’t afford to feed us they should have killed us in the cradle

This right here is why I’ve been a loud advocate for physical media. You don’t own digital media, you’re paying a price for access to it until the company you purchased access from decides you don’t get to have it anymore. Fight the power, buy physical media!!

Partly yes, partly no. Remember it was admitted on live television that Elon helped to rig this election. Trump has never fought fairly, and while there were people who voted for him, I wonder just how many of those votes were legitimate
