NYC to CNY (with a brief stop in NC) and making a new life.
A president is not "deposed" when a foreign nation kidnaps him. That needs to be done by his own people.

Now, I understand that many, probably most, Venezuelans want him out. But this is not supporting them, but claiming their power and rights for the US.

So, I used to sell one ( no longer on the market) so I know the problem - by "cup" they mean the included cup used in Japan to measure the raw rice that will make 2 imperial 8 ounce measuring cups of cooked rice when you use that rice cooker.

Yeah. You kind of work backward. Took me a while.

It's striking that progressives like Tim Walz and Zohran Mamdani evoke the middle American attitude that, "Yes, we can fix these social problems because we're Americans and it's the right thing to do!" While the "America first" right only emulates failed and failing nation-states elsewhere.

I'm going to start listening to music again. I used to always have something playing (and I'm old enough to have a substantial collection of recordings I actually own.) I stopped for several Current Life reasons, but one is over and I can work around the other.

Well, he's correct that it's never been thought of...

But he doesn't seem to grasp the reason for that.

She looks so determined.

Well, that demographic certainly is dwindling. I'm 70, and I didn't see them because I couldn't stay up that late yet.

I thought the same thing! I worked on Revels in NYC the last few years it ran.

Definitely its own thing!

Yes, but I wouldn't describe that as "wind chill below freezing," especially if it was something people were having trouble with. That's straight up "single digit temperatures."

(Central New York - we've already been below zero, as I know you have. Cold for December!)

The *wind chill* is below freezing? Not even the actual temperature?

It's December! That's normal for the northern part of the country from New York City west to the Cascade Mountains! Wait until late January...

And omg if you're a tenor (or even a light baritone who can manage most of the range) you're pretty much guaranteed a welcome. Though basses are certainly also welcome.

Yeah...

It's astounding to contemplate that for tens of millions of Americans, what was traumatic about the COVID-19 pandemic wasn't the millions of illnesses and deaths; it was that they were being told what to do.

I'm convinced that that's what this bullshit is about.

Now I wonder about Finn's original home, since he's the talkiest cat I've ever lived with, and he was six when he came to us.
