As an adult, I learned from Black friends that, while that might be true for a White lady like me, it was not always true for everyone, and I do want to acknowledge that.

When I was a child, we were taught that one of the reasons the US is a great nation was that this did not happen. That while in Communist countries like Russia and the Soviet bloc, and fascist countries like Spain people could be arrested if they didn't have papers, Americans did not need them.

They all need to double it? So, any store that already sells extensive amounts of "whole food" must somehow find and stock as much again?

You just made our evening. I started reading, stopped to fix dinner. After dinner, started telling Himself about it, thought reading would be easier, we've just been sitting over coffee alternating reading it aloud. And laughing...
