Someone should remind Gavin that tech investors are the bad guys

Yes, they’ll never pass on the opportunity for Colinsworth to glaze AR

What that should tell you is that completion percentage doesn’t mean much (which we’ve known for many years)

I sometimes enjoy watching Randle when he makes a play that looks more like team handball than basketball.

No need for a pick for me

Today is a serious one-off. I think that a team that has Ant will not face much adversity
December 31, 2025 at 10:09 PM
And it’s possible that the Panthers could lose the game and still win the division!
December 28, 2025 at 9:50 PM
Finch has yet to develop anyone - Ant would be a star if a 4 year old coached the team - and Connelly has been awful at talent evaluation and transactions (see: trading for Dillingham).
December 9, 2025 at 5:20 PM
And they have virtually no assets to make any change. Jaden is the only player asset they’d trade and they have no picks. It’s a 46 win team that might get a favorable matchup to win a round but is very far away from being a real contender (especially when there’s a 76 win team in the conference).
December 9, 2025 at 5:03 PM
This is pretty clearly preposterous. Randle is a downgrade from KAT, Conley is finished as an NBA player, Gobert is in decline, and the rest of their rotation save DDV (and Ant of course) would not even play for OKC or Houston.

What Rob is in December isn’t really important if it gets him ready for April, would be my argument
December 9, 2025 at 4:52 PM
Christian Braun played a decent amount on a title team very early, as one example. I’m not “title or bust” for pretty much any one season, but winning a title IS the goal, anything less long term is failure, so the fact that the Wolves are farther from that than they were 3 years ago is bad.
December 9, 2025 at 4:49 PM
This is ultimately the fatal flaw of all such systems, and why we did not install or recommend our system to, for example, the defeated Axis powers post-WWII. A parliamentary system simply grants clear legitimacy and gives room for true voter choice due to proportional awarding of seats.
December 9, 2025 at 4:05 PM
All “actions” die late in playoff games unless you have at least 3 high level shooting threats. ISO is how basically every contending team operates late because it comes down to “they blew up our scheme, Luka/SGA/Jokic go just beat a guy”. If your Guy isn’t that level, you’re not a contender.

Most people don’t know that you’re dead serious and that is his intent in all of this
December 5, 2025 at 7:53 PM
I don’t know how to reconcile these two things but this is where I’m at:

Ant is electric and awesome to watch

Until a roster shakeup or the second round of the playoffs, the team is not particularly interesting

Maybe that changes when the serious basketball starts on Christmas
December 1, 2025 at 2:55 PM
Wolves are short about 3 firsts to make that happen. Maybe 4.
