A United Teachers of Lowell member for three years, Dr. Goodhue is an exceptional science teacher encouraging her students to understand the importance of environmental conservation through firsthand projects like raising endangered baby turtles to reintroduce into local forests.

It was a day of new connections and sharing best practices about engaging members, supporting our students, and continuing to organize so we can win even bigger and better contracts in all of our locals and make our communities better places for all.

Each year, Fall Conference is is our time to learn from & with each other—and from building union density, to health & benefits, to engaging our members…we DID!

From special ed to the Chapter 70 school finance formula, our public schools are in need of serious investment. And any time there’s a fight to fund our schools, AFT MA will be there!
