Donald Trump just told 800 top military leaders that they need to prepare to confront an “invasion from within.” He is preparing the United States military to turn on Americans who don’t agree with him.

This is tyranny.

It is essential that we hold individuals who commit gun violence accountable, and if businesses break the law and contribute to that violence, they must be held accountable as well.

I will always use every tool at my disposal to improve public safety in Minnesota.

As AG, my job is to help people afford their lives and live with dignity, safety, and respect. And nothing is more central to our mission than housing.

Thanks to the @startribune.com for covering the work of our office and non-profit partners to deliver safe, affordable housing for MN families.
Hundreds of Minnesota homes neglected by hedge fund are now in hands of nonprofits
The single-family homes owned by companies managed by investment firm Pretium are being repaired.

Donald Trump and the Republicans who control the House and the Senate shut down our government to protect tax cuts for billionaires.

They are wreaking havoc on every aspect of our healthcare system and our economy and our ability to afford our lives.

I'm grateful to the nonprofits that stepped in after Havenbrook left to repair these homes and get them on the market at affordable rates. Together, we're building a Minnesota that puts people's needs over hedge-fund profits.

Few things are more important than having a safe place to call home—but Havenbrook's negligence caused its tenants to live in appalling conditions. That's not just disgraceful, it's illegal—so I sued them, won back over $4MM for their tenants, and got Havenbrook to leave MN.

The Trump Administration tried to stop our tax dollars from coming back to MN to fund law enforcement, prepare for natural disasters, and improve public safety.

They failed.

I will always defend the rule of law and protect the rights and safety of Minnesotans everywhere.

Trump’s demand for highly sensitive information on every SNAP applicant in Minnesota is deeply troubling, and I thank the courts for temporarily blocking this action.

I will keep fighting this unlawful demand, stand up for the rule of law, and protect Minnesotans from federal overreach.

Our Medicaid Fraud Control Unit interviewed key witnesses, executed search warrants, analyzed data, and more. My team and I will continue working hard to fight fraud and protect our tax dollars.

Fraudsters must be held accountable, and today’s indictments are a step in the right direction. My office gladly partnered with state and federal law enforcement on these investigations.

Many Minnesotans are receiving fraudulent text messages claiming to be the MN Department of Revenue.

Let me be clear: MNDOR will never send you a text message for you to pay money or provide your payment information.

Go to ag.state.mn.us/robocalls to file a report and help us stop these scammers.

I want to speak about Noem v. Vasquez Perdomo — a Supreme Court ruling that affects not just law, but who we are as a nation — and especially about one justice’s dissent that stands as a moral compass in the storm.

Every single American should be deeply disturbed to see the United States military occupying major American cities against the wishes of local authorities. I am proud to support @dcattorneygeneral.bsky.social Schwalb's lawsuit challenging this unconstitutional and unconscionable action.

Huge congrats to the workers of @teamsters.bsky.social Local 320 on their big win. Proof again that workers win when they stand together.

Thanks too to @farmaid.org, Willie Nelson, farmers & community for supporting labor and holding firm. Proof again that standing in solidarity with workers works.

I condemn the attack on Charlie Kirk. Information is unfolding, but gun violence is tragic, horrible, and all too frequent in our country. Praying for Kirk and his family.

My friends, we need to stand up for the basic idea that the military must not be used for domestic law enforcement.

Working with @mnstateauditor.bsky.social Blaha has been a joy. Auditor Blaha breathed new life into the OSA and has been such a champion for transparency, integrity, and local control.

I am grateful for all she has done to serve Minnesotans and support local governments across our state.

We cannot continue as a society to treat these mass shootings like they’re isolated events. Instead, we must all rededicate ourselves to building a national resolve to end them once and for all.
