Color me dazzled by Lucile Hadžihalilović's THE ICE TOWER, an unsettling hall-of-mirrors meditation on enchantment in the blinding lights of idolatry, cinema, and fantasy. One of the most dreamily arresting films you will see this year. My four-star review for @ebertvoices.bsky.social:

Engaging with questions like “what is public law?” and “what is a constitution?” with first-year Public Law students is more meaningful than ever and the students are on 🔥. Friday afternoon ends on a high.

Weekend film viewing was a real treat, and thought-providing - whether it’s about redemption or fate. Two very different filmmakers, in both the characters are compelling. Monday starts with these films in my head, but that’s okay.
