I don’t know if it’s because we have a huge vacuum of leadership in the party right now but if I could figure out a way to do it, I would inject this directly into my veins

I came back to reiterate this point - multiple POVs are unnecessary and it’s a plot device that prevents characters from being fully realized. ESPECIALLY if they are in the same room and the same thing is happening to all of them. Like.. what’s the point? Yes I’m struggling through the Atlas Six.
Can someone tell modern authors that not everything has to be multiple POV? Pick a character and stick with them.

Hey fiction writers - using different variations of the words “fuck” or “shit” a dozen times per page in your book does not make your characters edgy or cool. It’s just annoying. And lazy.

I don’t do audiobooks. Most narrators can’t capture the mood of what they’re reading, their attempts at voices of different characters are terrible, the inflection is always off. But I’m listening to Rosamund Pike’s version of The Wheel of Time and I’m obsessed. A masterpiece, seriously.
