that sounds like what the drawfee folks use, i've heard them mention elgato a few times. could also get one of those sound mixer things with a limiter on it as well, just so it's not all on your mic to determine the sound quality

they just take the big important tests straight on their chromebooks now. there's like a whole separate login for the testing portal and everything
