i think people are just so done with the state of twitter that coming to early internet era yes i want a feed of content from r/gaming and r/programmerhumor is somehow appealing

will improve with time, and i'm exaggerating my complaint i don't really care, but i certainly would not 'praise' it so far lmfao and i have seen a lot of people do that

instead of just showing my content related to the people i followed it tries to categorise the people i follow into interests and then decides i'm a 'gamer' and to fill my feed with 100000000000000 carbon-copy buzz lightyears posting "i like stardew valley, resident evil...". WHO EVEN ARE YOU.

also sidenote because i'm using it in this thread: i do not care what this platform or community wants to call them, they are tweets. that word has been public vocabulary for like 15 years, just keep using it.

on these sites, following someone is never that "meaningful" to me. it means like, i'm interested in this person's tweets anywhere from once a year to every minute, and so i've always used private lists to seperate those levels out (into columns on tweetdeck), but doing it publicly just feels odd
