Akruläs and Rakust Ostuk were peaceful kingdoms, their barbaric human neighbors too poor and scattered by far to ever be openly hostile. Indeed, excitement was in poor supply in Akruläs, except on the first day of spring when the lavish and elaborate Festival of Daggers would take place.
