Just picked up my set of Decent to Nowhere issue 1. I’m so excited by this series, it’s very clear so much love went into it, I’m already sad it will only be four issues.

Super fun to see it in the shop. The foil cover didn’t come in but I’m hoping I can still snag one.

The first issue is already so good. Love the style of the story and the art is perfect! It’s going to be agony waiting for each issue. A week between TSoN episodes already drove me mad enough. 👀

The animated trailer was incredible… but with the press release confirming all of my suspicions about the fourth level… you may need to put ME in an institute.

Never did I expect to go so absolutely mad over a particular character in this series.

After all these years, I was determined to 100% Little Nightmares before the third one arrived (I’d already 100% LN2 twice) and I’ve finally done it. What a ride Hard to the Core was. Really thought no deaths was going to be next to impossible for me. I had about 5 minutes to spare. 👁️

The mispronunciation of this word (and many others) is actually a huge pet peeve of mine, so I’m so happy awareness is spreading.

I don’t mind at all putting a spin on a pronunciation to make it somewhat easier for other languages to speak, but when you’re this far off it’s quite painful, haha.

Hi! Did you know that you aren’t pronouncing axolotl correctly?

Suppression of indigenous languages by the Spanish is one of the Four Wounds of Colonization. This is a small subversion of colonial power you can use!

Axolotl is a Nahuatl word, and it sounds like this:

I’ve been patiently waiting and grasping straws in hopes that Otto would not be insignificant to the current trajectory of Little Nightmares. My hope and my insanity grows by the day. The presentation, the comic previews teasing, and the end of the demo have all been fuel.

Finally posting this here as well, as it is precisely two years ago that I made this sketch from my mind’s eye.

I don’t typically try to interpret characters I’ve never seen, but there’s something captivating about this desperate creature, named Otto.

LN3 demo is fantastic! Way better than I expected with how the prerelease media has been promoting the game.

I'm so so excited to take Low (with @globalsoftpirka.bsky.social as Alone) through the Spiral in just a few weeks.

The ending of the demo??? Absolutely vibrating here.

I really love the LN world. Of course I’ve wondered how it might take hold of my worst traits. It’s always a nice bit of self reflection, and there’s a lot of horror and melancholy to read into here. The old contest prompt was a fantastic excuse and motivation to channel some of those feelings.

I didn’t even sleep. Very cool story. So many questions bubbling up from this for sure. I really enjoy the bittersweet feeling of finding some sort of solace in The Nowhere.

Also loved The Performer. You captured the feeling of a LN boss fight so well in words— absolutely my favourite part.
