The Blue Jays still have the same long term problems you indicated. I wouldn't put them having 1st in AL East every year for the next few years at all. The Rockies will eventually have a great season like 2007. Does that mean their process is long term sustainable? Nope.

We signing Framber Valdez this winter? I know Stearns doesn't draft penalties. But we kind of need pitching until Tong and the arms in the minors are ready.

Can we release Nimmo once he completely collapses (which could come in 2 years.....or even next year!)? Would releasing him affect payroll wise in terms of draft picks and pool money? Nimmo's OBP has fallen since 2021. Scared of where it will go next 5 years (thanks Eppler!).

The Reds are such a fake team. Just looking at the WAR their lineup produces makes one mad. It's bad. I hope the Dodgers destroy them in a sweep starting this Tuesday.

That would require the Mets modernizing their hitting staff, right? Because call me doubtful that in the majors they have biomechanic guys. I know they have a hitting lab in the minors.

I'm not upset with Mendoza being the the dugout but can we get pitching decisions come from the front office with Mendoza being a liaison? The rest you can leave it to him.

Coming into tonight at age 25 with ~420 plate appearances he is putting up a .344 xwOBA. I mean you don't think his ages 26, 27, and 28 seasons (his prime) will see him have those seasons be with higher xwOBAs?

He isn't Alonso's replacement. If Alonso gets replaced in 2026, it would have to come via trade.
Of course if you think Alonso is going to go on a 3-4 year tear, sign him for those years (no 7 year deals!).
