A White House insider would have told us to go all-cash in early April then go back into equities after the so-called Liberation Day slump bottomed out. Otherwise, your advice couldn’t have been better. Thanks.

I had used radiant smooth top or coil electric ranges for 4 decades and thought that gas would have been a better option. Now I am using induction which has similar heating dynamics as gas without the risk of poisoning, fire, or explosion. Easier to clean too.

I finished “Launching Liberty”yesterday. Wow!, what a good book about so many good people. I have long been impressed by the Apollo program, the Liberty Ships program outshined Apollo in many ways. Was
the movie “Mr. Roberts” set on a Liberty Ship?

I wasn’t even close. I was in Christchurch several times while visiting family in Auckland and did some driving vacations. Last visit to Christchurch was in March of 2015. Is there still evidence of the earthquake that happened a short time before that? -Roger in North Carolina USA

Thanks for the reminder, I have not checked in a long time. Good article about bad debt!

I can’t answer that without knowing what is the alternative source of funds (budgeted ‘needs’ or just ‘wants’?) Also, what damage would having a repossession cause? Their credit is so bad they couldn’t refinance. This isn’t a catastrophe but they must change their ways.

Near the end of the new Looney Tunes movie the view of the incoming asteroid was the same regardless of where it was being seen from around the earth. There were one or two more implausible situations. 😉

$17,000 is nothing to sneeze at but there are plenty of factors to consider. If you pay cash and love your “new” car for 16 years or more you will be way ahead of borrowing to buy a two-year-old car every four years .

I converted some
equities from an IRA to a Roth IRA when stock prices went down, the share prices are even lower now. May I do a re-do?

I think that the egg issue is because of the bird flu culling.
The decline of my retirement portfolio is because of the Orange Felon. My disgust and angst is too.

Both of those Parable books were great, read Parable Of The Talents too. Both books had the type of people that I would like to have on my side in challenging times.
