Hard agree. He’s still my favourite doctor. Some of the writing (and extended cast acting) isn’t great; but most of it is really excellent. Happiness Patrol, Curse of Fenric, Rembrance of the Daleks; all absolutely first rate IMO.

And Ace is such a great companion.

All in all, I think these two make for a fun Christmas double-feature if you are hankering for a way to end the year! Just be sure to watch The Journey North first so you don’t have to finish on a downer. Next up, hopefully not too long from now, Island of Giants! (60/60)
