Sorry to butt in here. I don't know you guys but getting a plastic that can withstand the heat and also be food safe will probably be really really expensive. I would look at the cost of that versus just buying a new pan.

Seeing the recommendations made, no one has led you wrong so far. But if you guys want to learn and have a project to do together you might want to look at the Vorons. Some families rebuild an old car together you could build a 3D printer.

For small high detail of course, you want to go with resin, but resin is a lot to deal with. The good thing is so many people don't like it that you can find a lot of used complete setups. But in the final breakdown resin is more expensive.
So an a 1 mini with a .2 nozzle is the FDM way to go.

Why could this soft PLA not be washed?
I do know about TPE but there's not many companies that actually produce it that are outside of the commercial manufacturing sector.

Well if that doesn't work then be proactive. There are many free (besides the investment of your time and effort) self-defense classes out there and unlike whatever weapon you choose the one weapon you will always have with you is your body.

Alright my first reaction to this I erased. Here's my second take. If something bad happens and you are found with a gun either used or not and it's a legally registered gun, don't you think things will go a little better with the police than if it was an illegal gun?
