now it looks like they connived behind the back of their base (which they clearly did because what a coincidence no one is up for re-election in the next year) for air travel.

I think it was more than 8 who wanted to fold, and I think if they had waited for the 1st district court to rule on SNAP and Trump to take it to SCOTUS, a larger faction of the Dems could have made the case that the Republicans are willing to starve people and they are not.

if it were a hard call they would have given themselves time to do PR on it. they tried to do it secretly over the weekend. they're already not being honest with their base.

health insurance continues as normal. the only question atm is whether people will be able to easily enroll in open enrollment for next year's benefits which starts sometime soon.

unfortunately for them, not everyone can move onto a military base.
