We used to get horror movie crossovers on a regular basis. Freddy vs. Jason. Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman. Alien vs. Predator. But now, for the last several years, we haven't.

I watched this today and this people that want ban stuff want you ignorant, not question anything, don't be independent of thought. It's important to support and protect the diversity of voices and experiences, because that brings discussion, knowledge and help to mature as individuals too.

There is not a situation I can think of where both of those folks need hospital care. Full stop. A hospital is for treating folks who need treatment. Let them get it.

The most frustrating part is that the folks who say things you vehemently disagree with will also assume you're cool with them saying that, and I'm just like "Uh....what?"

I think the internet just has a way of exhausting folks fast.

Another frustrating element of internet drama is if you are arguing against the same person, bad faith onlookers will see the worst actions of those siding against a common adversary and associate you with it.

And that nonsense I think DEFINITELY has burned me out.

Like, authentically, the last couple weeks with internet drama has me burned out on that topic. The next few weeks are already in progress and will be set up to focus on media discussion.

But even after that, I will probably prioritize discussing media I like for a bit.

I just finished watching this video at work, and I concur with Ant that you should watch it. It’s a great examination of dark fiction and what they say about the human condition.

Alright, since it's the ninth anniversary of Yuri on Ice, I'll say it.

I think it's kinda screwed up everyone body shamed Yuri for the entire first few episodes. The guy needed to train for a competition, sure, but the guy was pulling off Olympic level performances on off-season
