That’s why we need a legal defense fund created specifically to combat government targeting. Maybe funded through ActBlue campaigns or something similar, and aided by retired lawyers.

Right? Trump’s selection of Gaetz not only insults the fine public servants in the DOJ, but also threatens outright the livelihood of SNL and other comedy writers, who, no matter how talented they may be, could never conjure up skits or bits as absurd as what’s taking place IRL.
