Great piece Mike. I think any real leadership against Trump's jack-booted thugs will come from Johnson, not Polis. The latter is going to be reveling in his anti-vax/Covid denial "connection" with RFK Jr.

I doubt he will impose tarrifs if he can make Mexico pay for the wall, literally and figuratively. They will literally build a wall and cooperate on reducing the flow of gnarly drugs into the US. I doubt either will achieve their stated purposes of keeping people and drugs out, but that's the play.
