so yeah that’s all from me! 2024 was BAD 1/5 stars would not recommend big yikes for 2025

this all led us to the highlight of the year - welcoming a new little baby boy (he’s huge and not a baby)

and I also remembered I have a community outside my tight knit crew and spent way more time volunteering and participating in mutual aid

I remembered how important hosting is for me and did weekly game nights, and hosted the big 3 this year (thankie, xmas, and nye)

might sound frivolous but I also took the time to care for myself and my body this year in ways I haven’t before - new hair, new clothes, new tattoos

also learned to sew, kept running, kept reading, and started a creative journal

as a hobby collector you KNOW I numbed my pain in new fixations. starting with magic the gathering ya’llll. someone who cares about bts and mtg please look at this

and the people who surround me at the table

but in review I am also reminded of all the good. firstly, can we get a round of applause for food and new restaurants????

i’d love to say the year righted itself after that but we kept going through it!! some covid, a trip or 2 to the ER, a flooded basement, a special spicy work surprise continued to fuckin humble me

obvi that was fucking hard. and then it was really illuminating just how much of a support system I have. Desi, my friends, my family, and even my coworkers were immeasurably kind and patient. plus Artemis really reminded me how much of a stinker she is

let’s get the worst out of the way. about a week into this year I lost my bestest friend and first pet. he was very very special and very loved. he’s pain free now 💛

i’m looking forward to it!!
