Pinocchio, a 2014 Korean drama, follows a young man whose life was destroyed by unethical journalists, whose relentless hounding of his family led his mother to throw herself off a cliff. Turns out the driving factor behind this was to bury a scandal. Don't know why I'm thinking of this lately.
