I don’t think they are ready to make a serious playoff push yet. It would be great if they got in and got some playoff off experience. Do I think they are going to the finals? No.

But they actually don’t have to do something. Yzerman has drafted well and we are finally seeing the fruits of that. Why would you sell the farm for one player who may or may not resign with you?
