Had a great - albeit short - #histgym session today. A couple of little life details make all the difference: 1. My teaching schedule works perfectly with my #dialysis. Cheers to my principal. 2. My dialysis starts 45mn later, giving me more time to exist. #Amreading about #CharlesII & #Restoration

Back at the #hospital (10hrs after my #dialysis last night) for my teeth [major, major, 11/10 pain since April]. The dental wing is in the same wing as the #deaf wing. Pretty neat to see an entire team - including patients - using FSL. #lsf

Went to our nephew’s 21st birthday party this weekend. He’s not a huge fan of cake, so his parents came up with the most #French alternative: a #cheese tower, or as I dubbed it: the Tower of Cheese [Pisa = Pise in French]. From a Meilleur Ouvrier de France cheese seller in #Orléans. Best 🧀ever.

A meter-high cheese tower that looks like a giant cartoon cake. The cheeses were the best of the best available in France. Figs, blueberries, raspberries, and flowers were added for texture.

Pretty darn lucky to have a job I look forward to returning to after summer #vacation. Tomorrow’s #teachers’ in-service day and it’ll be nice to get back to #school.
